In April 2002, International Fiber Corporation's Urbana manufacturing facility received its sixth consecutive SUPERIOR rating from the American Institute of Baking (AIB). The AIB conducts audits of food plants worldwide for compliance with government regulations for good manufacturing practices. These practices include sanitation, adequacy of food safety program, pest control, operational methods and practices, maintenance for food safety, and also documentation. A SUPERIOR rating is the highest rating that can be awarded by the AIB and this reflects IFC’s continual strive for excellence.
