Plastics and Molded Products
IFC's broad range of products for plastics are extremely functional fillers that are used not only as a bulking agent, but also to enhance and modify special physical properties. Our material; can be used in molded parts for electronics, in home furnishings, and flooring. Our fiber products enhance the impact strength for thermosets such as melamine, urea, and phenolic resins.
Exhibiting excellent functional properties at a low cost, plastic products that have been reinforced using our fiber products include such items as ash trays, air filter housings, telephones and other household, industrial, and automotive molded parts. Typical grades of Solka-Floc® used in extruded products include Solka-Floc® 10 and Solka-Floc® 1016 due to the longer length cellulose fibers.
